Online Ticket & Hire Terms (Cancellations, Closures & Digital Wallet Credit)

1. Who we are

These terms apply to online advance purchases for lift passes and equipment hire (and any other bookable snowsports services we make available online) (together, “Tickets/Bookings”) sold by Lecht 2090 (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Your contract with us

When you buy a Ticket/Booking online, you enter into a contract for the supply of leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.

3. Important legal note (UK consumer rights)

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. Where UK consumer law requires a cash/monetary refund, we will provide it.

4. Weather, safety and operational closures (our cancellation)

4.1 Safety first

Snowsports are weather-dependent. We may close all or part of the centre, reduce services, or cancel sessions where conditions make operation unsafe or impractical (including but not limited to high winds, ice, heavy rain, poor visibility, avalanche risk, lift malfunction, power failure, road closure, or other events outside our reasonable control).

4.2 If we cancel your Ticket/Booking

If we cancel your Ticket/Booking (or the relevant part of it) before your booked start time, you will be entitled to one of the following remedies: - Digital Wallet Credit (default): A credit to your Lecht 2090 digital wallet equal to the amount paid for the cancelled Ticket/Booking (including any booking fee charged by us), valid for 24 months from the date the credit is issued; or - Monetary refund: If you prefer, you may request a monetary refund to the original payment method.

4.3 Partial operation / reduced service

If the centre is open but operating with reduced facilities (e.g., fewer lifts, shorter hours, limited terrain, or restricted access) we will treat this as the service being provided, and no automatic refund will be due. If you believe the service you received was not as described or not provided with reasonable care and skill, contact us and we will review the circumstances in line with your statutory rights.

5. Customer cancellation / changes

5.1 Changing the date (recommended)

If you can’t attend, you may move your Ticket/Booking to another available date/time (subject to capacity and any price difference).

5.2 Cancelling your Ticket/Booking

If you cancel, we will provide Digital Wallet Credit (default) equal to the amount paid for the Ticket/Booking (including any booking fee charged by us), subject to the notice periods below. The credit will be valid for 24 months from the date it is issued.

Notice periods (customer cancellation): - More than 48 hours before the booked start time: 100% Digital Wallet Credit. - 48 hours to 24 hours before the booked start time: 75% Digital Wallet Credit. - Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: no credit or refund.

We may waive these limits in exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious illness) at our discretion.

5.3 Monetary refunds on customer cancellation

Because Tickets/Bookings are leisure services for a specific date/time, you generally do not have an automatic right to cancel for a monetary refund once booked. However, where UK consumer law requires a monetary refund (for example, if we have not provided the service as agreed), we will provide it.

6. Digital Wallet Credit – how it works

6.1 What it is

Digital Wallet Credit (“Credit”) is a stored-value balance held in your customer account with us.

6.2 Validity

Credit is valid for 24 months from the date it is issued. Any unused balance will expire after that date.

6.3 Use of Credit

Credit can be used: - As full or part payment for future online purchases on our booking system (including lift tickets and equipment hire); and - Only by the account holder who received the Credit (unless we agree otherwise).

6.4 Non-cash nature

Credit is not a gift card and is not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.

6.5 Proof and administration

You are responsible for keeping your account details secure. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before applying Credit or processing a refund.

7. Refund processing times

Where a monetary refund is due, we will process it to the original payment method within 14 days of agreeing the refund (or earlier where possible). Bank processing times may vary.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

If you raise a payment dispute/chargeback with your card provider, we may suspend your account and any Credit balance while the dispute is investigated.

9. Misuse and fraud

We may refuse, cancel, or reverse Credit where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, resale, or breach of these terms.

10. Contact and complaints

If you need to cancel, request a monetary refund, or raise a complaint, contact us with your booking reference and the email used to purchase.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of purchase will apply to your booking.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and disputes are subject to the Scottish courts (unless you live elsewhere in the UK, in which case you may also bring proceedings in your local courts).
